A Baptist pastor is in jail on sex abuse charges.

Rev. Charles Moore is accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl last summer. The charges said Moore knew the girl through a family connection and not through his church, United Faith Baptist in East St. Louis.

The 57-year-old minister is being held on $250,000 bond.
