A Baptist pastor is in jail on sex abuse charges.

Rev. Charles Moore is accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl last summer. The charges said Moore knew the girl through a family connection and not through his church, United Faith Baptist in East St. Louis.

The 57-year-old minister is being held on $250,000 bond.

School officials in Provincetown, Mass., recently adopted a policy to make condoms available to elementary and high school students beginning this fall.

The new policy requires school nurses to supply the contraceptive if a student asks for it.

With each free condom, students will receive counseling, including information on abstinence. But parents will not be informed and cannot ask the school not to provide condoms to their child.

Sex toys for Christians? They’re heating up online stores like Book22 and My Beloveds Garden, where devout couples can browse for everything from “intimacy kits” to lubricants. 

Book22.com, which sells “edibles,” massage oils and games, was started by Joy Wilson two years ago, according to NPR.com.  Discovering she had little desire for sex after having her first baby, Wilson and her husband started shopping for marital aids but found that Internet searches turned up porn sites.
